Cement
Building Foundations with Quality Cement
Grades refer to compressive strength – how much strength – how much strength cement can yield or bear.
Grades are classified according to compressive strength tested after 28 days.
Cement strength is directly proportional to concrete strength.
Types of Cement grades:
- Ordinary Portland Cement - 43 grade (OPC 43)
- Ordinary Portland Cement - 53 grade (OPC 53)
- Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC)
PPC – 75 – 77% cement clinkers + 20% fly ash + 3 – 5% gypsum.
Cement Grade Increases – Strength Increases
Concrete grade
- M 5, M 10 and M 15 are used for PCC (Plain Cement Concrete) work such as leveling course, bedding for footing etc.
- M 20 is used for RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) work such as Slab, Beams, Columns, footing, etc (for mild exposure).
- Grade – Rarely used / commonly used for making concrete of low strength below M20 concrete grade.
- Grade – Used in PCC, RCC work concrete grade – M30 (up to)
- Grade – OPC recommended in all RCC structure like footings, columns, becomes, slabs.
Used in RCC work, grade of concrete is M30 & above.
- High rise buildings, industrial work.
- Building blocks, Pipes, Railways.
- Pre stressed concrete work in bridges, silos etc.
- Runway, Concrete road, bridges.
- Cold weather concreting, cement grits, instant plugging.

Steel
Steel is an iron alloy Composed of Carbon Content ranging from 0.03% to 1.075%. The Difference between from and steel is that form is used as the base material to produce steel.
Significant advantages of steel are it has high tensile strength and low cost and it becomes an essential Component for the Construction building, and infrastructure.
Importance of Steel
- Steel Structures are five - Resistant Compared to rustic design as good is a Combustive Material and is lower fine resistant when determined with RCC Structure.
- Steel Structure can repel outside weights for ex: Earthquakes and cycloids providing much safety, stability.
- India - 4th Largest exporter of steel bars.
- India - World's 2nd largest steel producer, produced approximately 110.4 million tones in fy23.
- In Fy23, India shipped 6.7 million tones of finished steel.

Basmati Rice
Basmati rice is one of the varieties of rice generally found in India. It is known for its long, slender looking grain and has a great aroma. Basmati rice is popular across the globe for its unique flavour. It is best used in dishes like biryani, fried rice, pilaf and such other popular dishes. India is one of the major basmati rice exporter.

This type is basically derived from the process of hybridization. Commercial cultivation for 1121 Basmati Rice started in 2003. It’s characteristics include extra-long slender milled grains, a pleasant aroma, volume expansion more than four times, appealing taste, good mouthfeel, and easy digestibility.
Traditional Basmati Rice

Golden Sella Basmati Rice

Some types of rice are long and slender, while some are short and thick. Non- Basmati Rice is used in homes for daily use and also is used and exported for commercial use.
Parboiled Rice
Parboiled rice is rice that has been partially boiled in the husk. It is basically like easy to cook rice. The process of parboiling includes soaking, steaming and drying. These processes make the rice easier to process by hand. Parboiling also boosts its nutritional profile, changing its texture, and making it more resistant to weevils.
Broken Rice
First of all, even though this type is called broken rice, nothing is actually wrong with it. It is as nutritious as any other rice. It is basically just fragments of rice grains, broken in the field, during drying, transport, or by milling. Mechanical separators are used to separate the broken grains from the whole grains and sort them by size.
